Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for Mental Health

In order to protect us from these unpleasant feelings, our brains often default to avoidance and denial-which have never been shown to effectively treat any mood or anxiety symptom or disorder.  Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is a research-validated approach that has been shown to be effective for a variety of mental health conditions and symptoms that commonly occur during early adulthood-including depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, treatment-resistant conditions, and chronic pain, among others.
